What should I pay attention to when using hot mounting consumables?

Before using a hot mounting consumable, specimens must be cleaned with alcohol or acetone and dried thoroughly. Use gloves and tweezers to avoid contamination. Adjust the specimen size to the mounting cylinder's height. Final mount height should be approximately 20 mm. Small specimens may be supported by metal fixation clips. Hot mounting consumables are available in a wide variety of sizes. To select the correct hot mounting consumable, consult the user's manual.

Cold mounting vacuum presses provide excellent pore impregnation and support, increased edge retention, and improved clarity. Cold mounting vacuum presses are equipped with a durable vacuum pump to evacuate trapped air. The MV01 model's freely adjustable 360-degree joystick allows multiple molds to be filled at one time under vacuum.
