As an excellent company in metallography field in China, Trojan has always focused on the training of students. July 9, 2022, sponsored by Jiangsu Mechanical Engineering Society and hosted by Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, "Trojan Motic Cup" The First Jiangsu Province Students Metallographic Skills Competition was opened. The opening ceremony of the competition started at 8:30 a.m. in the lecture hall of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology Library. The opening ceremony was hosted by Professor Lusheng, Dean of School of Materials. Former deputy director of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, Professor Ding Xiaochang also expressed his warm congratulations and expectations for the smooth holding of the competition through live link.
The competition fully demonstrated the purpose of the competition of "promoting education and improvement through competition". The contestants carried forward the spirit of tenacity and courage. They showed the results accumulated from the usual training. The contestants actively communicated with each other, gaining both achievements and friendship.
At the closing ceremony, Professor Liang Wenping, the director of Jiangsu University Student Metallographic Skills Competition Committee, made a summary comment on the competition. She affirmed and praised the excellent performance of the students in the competition. She also instructed some of the contestants on the problems of flying samples during grinding and polishing, failure to perform workstation recovery, and sample surface quality problem that were exposed during the competition. She helped the students to better improve their technical level. We hope that the participants and instructors will keep improving and strengthen their Metallographic training to achieve better results in the national competition in September.
