High-efficiency metallographic polishing agent is used in various manufacturing processes such as aviation industry, foundry industry, steel industry, medical industry, rail industry, and used in various experiments and research and development. The role of high-efficiency metallographic polishing agent is to eliminate certain non-metallic impurities, graphite in cast iron, and pores in powder metallurgy. The polished surface of the sample must be "etched" with an etchant to obtain (or enhance) the observation of the image under the microscope.
Matters needing attention when using high-efficiency metallographic polishing agent:
1. Before use, use a metallographic polishing cloth soaked with clean water to prevent friction and heat generation.
2. After starting the polishing plate, shake the high-efficiency metallographic polishing agent gently and spray it upside down onto the polishing fabric, otherwise the polishing agent cannot be fully utilized.
3. When spraying high-efficiency metallographic polishing agent, it should be sprayed along the radius with the center of the polishing disc as the center, and it takes 3-5 seconds. The spraying of new fabrics should be extended accordingly to make the fabrics more polished and polished. Clean water should be added continuously during use to buffer the frictional heat.
